Nestled in Knightstown, Boondocks Event Barn & Lodge on Montgomery Creek Ranch is a picturesque location ideal for your next event. The venue’s private, wooded land, wildflower fields, and overlooking meadows provide three unique spaces: the event lawn, the barn, and the lodge. With eight different parks to choose from, the New Castle Park system has many opportunities for you to host your next meeting or event! Contact the Mayor’s Office (Parks Department) for more details and to make reservations for the following:

The Arts Park and Center
Available for rent for parties, meetings, weddings, reunions, or other events. Table and chair rentals are available. Plan your event at one of these locations provided by the Art Center & Art Association of Henry County. Willow Acres
With its fairy-tale seclusion, Willow Acres in Middletown is the perfect place for an outdoor wedding or event for up to 175 guests. The dedicated event experts help you plan every detail, from the ceremony to the reception. The Parcel Wedding and Event Venue
The Parcel is a breathtaking venue located in rural Henry County, which opened in 2023. It was established to provide a space that turns dreams into reality for countless celebrations. An impressive 3,200 sq ft barn can host up to 260 people. The “Teahouse,” has a kitchen and is used for hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour as well as micro weddings and rehearsal dinners. Additionally, there is a “Bridal Suite,” used for brides to get ready for their big day! All the buildings are temperature-controlled with plenty of parking options. The Parcel is located on 10 acres featuring a quaint pond with picturesque scenes.
